Will we drive all the way to Finland for the northern light chase?

It is possible we may need to drive far distances to find the right conditions for viewing the lights. However, the aim of all our tours is to give you the best outdoor experience so we will not spend time driving to far away places if it is not necessary. The more the time spent in the car, the less the time you will spend looking at the sky and enjoying the outdoors.

If the weather is not good near Tromsø, we may drive all the way past the Finnish border. This highland area has a different microclimate and may offer drier weather with less cloud cover than the Norwegian coastline. For this reason it is good to have an ID/passport with you on our tours.
