What should I expect from a winter tour?

Our tours will offer you a chance to experience the nature of the Arctic and its wonders in the way that best suits you.

On the Aurora Hunt you take part in a northern lights chase with a small group in a cozy atmosphere. The tour takes you to different locations in Troms where to take photos and relax in the wilderness away from the city lights and sounds.

The Arctic Landscapes tour will take you to a ride to the fjords on Kvaløya Island. Depending on the month, you will view mountains, fjords, lakes and a variety of wildlife in either the magical and misty light of the polar night in mid-winter or the brilliant Arctic sun as spring approaches. All months of the long Tromso winter offer unique and beautiful views of the Norwegian coastline.

Our Take a Walk to the Wild Side is a fun and memorable trip with snowshoes. You get to feel how it is being out experiencing the local nature and enjoying the snow. Hiking up any hill or peak around Tromso will take you up enough to see the surrounding area from a bird’s eye perspective (just like a real Wandering Owl!).
