Booking an Aurora Hunt on the day you arrive in Tromsø can be risky due to the area's rapidly changing weather, which can lead to flight delays. For instance, if your flight arrive at 16:00 and your tour starts at 18:00, there is little room for delays.
Wandering Owl cannot wait for delayed guests and will not be able to offer a refund if you miss the tour. In the event of a missed tour due to a delayed flight, reimbursement can only be obtained through your travel insurance. We can provide a letter confirming your absence, which you can submit to your insurance company.
The airport is about 10 minutes from the pick-up location, excluding traffic.
If possible, we recommend scheduling your Aurora Hunt for a different day. If that’s not feasible, consider booking a flight that allows some buffer time for unforeseen delays.
